Along with using natural treatments like acupuncture, many women look to nature itself to support their journey towards pregnancy.
The moon in particular is often associated with pregnancy and fertility. One reason for this is because the menstrual cycle mirrors the moon’s cycle (around 29.5 days). The moon is also a symbol of fertility and growth.
So, how are eclipses linked to fertility?
Eclipses are rare and special events. They occur when the Earth shadows the moon, or when the moon moves in front of the sun to varying degrees. Astrologically, they’re known to symbolise powerful endings and herald new beginnings. In other words, chaos is likely to happen- but it will be for your higher good!
When it comes to pregnancy, it’s all down to the balance.
The Sun is the conscious self, masculine energy and Yang (think of the luteal phase and Kidney Yang energy). Meanwhile, the Moon represents the feminine energy (Yin - follicular phase), the unconscious, and emotions.
We need a balance of Yin and Yang, of feminine and masculine energies in our bodies and menstrual cycle. When one overshadows the other, this can cause dramatic physical and emotional symptoms and/or occurrences in our outer world.
We’re now entering the eclipse season.
With the lunar eclipse in Pisces on 17-18th September 2024 and the October 2nd solar eclipse in Libra, we are in eclipse season!
Eclipses bring about change and transformation. They bring sudden endings and changes in situations that no longer benefit us. It can be challenging, but it’s the universe pushing us towards harmony and brings us back to our soul path.
Eclipses can cause collective triggering as we are pushed out of our comfort zones and onto a healing path. As the Moon is related to emotions and feminine energy, expect a build up of emotions and old energy (Qi) that needs to be released.
How to release old emotions and feminine energy:
● Journal your emotions and burn the paper. Journaling is known to help support our mental health. It’s a great way to reduce anxiety and stress.
● Exercise and spend time in nature to move the Qi
● Acupuncture. Our clinic Creation Acupuncture specialises in acupuncture designed to encourage fertility. Based in Wolverhampton, we’re ideal for anyone in the local area seeking support with their fertility journey.
The Positive Impact of Eclipses:
● When you work with the energies to release old negativity and stuck emotions, you will open yourself up to receiving new light codes.
● This gives you a chance to improve your life and heal from within, opening up exciting new beginnings.
● Remember that a baby is coming to earth at a very high frequency of light and energy/Qi. In order to attract this, you must heal your body from within (starting with emotional healing) in order to be able to vibrate at the same frequency and therefore receive. The eclipse is giving you an opportunity to receive this light, but you must be in an energetically clear state.
So here are 3 ways you can use the power of the eclipses to uplevel your fertility journey:
Release the Past
You may feel or be reminded of past experiences more intensely during this time. This can include miscarriages, recurrent IVF failures, traumatic experiences that have made you afraid of fertility treatment, or hospitals or even of becoming a parent.
Everyone’s fertility journey is different. Some people struggle with the IVF process, suffer from issues like endometriosis, or low fertility. However, emotional healing is also important.
Although medical problems are often an issue, our mental state also makes a difference. Repeated cycles and experiences can often date back to childhood wounding, such as not feeling good enough, being judged and criticised, abandonment and lack of trust.
Spend some time at the eclipse to dig deep into your past. When you get to the root cause of the current issues you wish to release, it can stop a repeating cycle in your present.
JOURNAL, ENERGY CLEARING MEDITATION, EXERCISE
Make a List of Intentions:
What negative things do you need to release from your life? This is an important ritual at full moons, but especially important at eclipse times, when the cosmic energies are working even more closely with you, to support you to release what is no longer serving you. These might be negative habits, or people, but it’s not always what you might think!
For example, if you identified during the journaling exercise, that in your childhood, you were teased and bullied for your appearance and that has made you mistrust your body. You might have since difficulty conceiving, perhaps with ovulation issues, or PCOS. Fertility doctors may have recommended that you lose weight and you are now on a strict diet, but you feel it reduces your self worth as it reminds you of the criticism from childhood and you often struggle to stick to it.
Sometimes it can be better to:
● Listen to your own voice; value your own opinion
● Develop your self-worth
● Realise you are good enough as you are
● Stand in your own feminine power.
Stay in a High Vibration
If you stay in a high vibration, according to the Law of Attraction, you will effortlessly attract what is at the same vibration. However, the first step is to clear away that negative energy.
The trick to staying in a high vibration is to put yourself first, and do what you love. Spend some time thinking about what you loved doing as a child, or what you would do if you had time to yourself, without commitments, without expectations of others, even family and friends. Do you love singing, dancing, walking, playing sports, art, animals, playing an instrument? Spend some time doing what you love this week and try to make time for yourself and something that truly takes your mind off the fertility journey.
As Within, So Without. When you make an internal change emotionally, you will gradually be able to see the physical and external world changes in your life. Use this heightened power at the eclipse gateways!
Have a wonderful week!
